🍋🌿 Lemon Eucalyptus is one of the most well-researched natural insect repellents. It contains compounds that can mask the scents & chemical signals that ticks use to identify their targets.

🍃 Peppermint contains high levels of menthol—creating a scent barrier that can be overwhelming & can discourage ticks from approaching.

🪻Lavender has a strong floral scent that can disrupt the sensory cues that ticks use to locate hosts.

🌲 Cedarwood goes a step further than just masking your natural scent by also making the environment physically unfavorable—so even if a tick gets close, it’s less likely to stay.

💧Ticks have an outer layer (cuticle) that helps keep water in their bodies. Compounds in Cedarwood Oil have been shown to disrupt that layer, making it harder for them to hold onto moisture.

⚠️ Once that barrier is weakened, they start to lose water to the environment. For small pests, dehydration can quickly become life-threatening.

🚫 Ticks are looking for a stable environment where they can latch on, feed, & survive. If a surface—like your skin or your clothes—is associated with something that can dry them out, they’re much less likely to stick around!

Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax, & Castor Oil create a moisturizing & water-resistant barrier that helps bind & stabilize the essential oils—slowing evaporation. This slow, consistent release of the active compounds is key to long-lasting protection. This also creates a physical barrier on the skin that can be uncomfortable for ticks to hold onto & bite through.
